“This is the first industrial project in Kazakhstan in the generation of electricity from wind energy. Its implementation will contribute to the development of alternative energy in Kazakhstan, based on the use of renewable energy sources. The project is also relevant on the threshold of the upcoming exhibition “EXPO 2017”, the theme of which is “Energy of Future” - said the deputy chairman of the EDB Dosmukametov.

According to him, the involvement of renewable energysources intothe power generation is to optimize the structure of generating capacities, namely, to reduce the share of traditional energy, and to save fuel and energy resources and minimize the negative impact of energy on the environment by reducing emissions pollutants and greenhouse gases.
