The technology increasing efficiency of photoconversion of silicon cellar cells was developed by the scientists of the Center of physical and chemical methods of research and analysis of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. The project manager – PhD, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan B.N. Mukashev.
The scientists have worked out the methods of formation p-n-passages on silicon of different type of conductivity and also studied the properties of silicon structure. It was studied the current-voltage characteristics of the diffusion p-n-passages. Also, authors designed, created and debugged the installation of pulse annealing in a controlled atmosphere, 6 kW, with water cooling, with the exit time on the working temperature in the period less than 10 seconds. It was studied the structure and morphology of obtained samples of textured silicon, selected by selective etching, initiated by metallic clusters. The technology can be applicable in the field of solar cell production.
