The regional akim Sergey Kulagin visited Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov in November 23, 2016.

The delegation visited put in commission a new student residence for 310 seats.

The five-story building has all conditions for students: furnished with furniture, bright and comfortable rooms with two and three seats, rooms for cooking, clothes washing and drying rooms with a modern washing machine and ironing machines, sanitary facilities, showers and medical center. The hostel equipped with plasma TV’s on each floor – reading rooms, conference room with 50 seats, and dining room for 120 seats. It is also equipped with high-speed Internet access and wi-fi connection.

During the allocation of rooms in the dormitory of the University, the administration primarily populated orphans and children left without parents care,

owners of the state grant, students from other areas, from large families, disabled and students from multidisciplinary colleges and students of history, law, art and sport, philosophy and pedagogy. This will allow students save time and money.
