In May 21, within the framework of the festival dedicated to the end of the school year, students enrolled in the program “Serpin – 2050” of State University named after Shakarim of Semey city visited Zhidebay.

The main purposes of the trip were the visit of house-museums of Abay Kunanbayev and M.O Auezov, and also visit of such places as Enlik-Kebek monument and Kushikbay batyr monument.

The trip was attended by over 200 people. For the students from other regions and enrolled in “Serpin” program, it was the perfect opportunity to visit the birthplace of the great poet, wherein was born his inspiration. Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the books which Abay was reading.

Such tours are good tradition of our university. They play important role in the formation of spiritual values of young people.
