In the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the guidance of the Minister Sagadiev Erlan Kenzheglievich, in May 17, 2016 it was hold the meeting of the Republican Comission for awarding the educational grants of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation “Orken”.
Two questions were discussed at the meeting of Republican Commission.
It was summed up the result of the questions of competitive selection into Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools of physics and mathematics in Astana, Aktobe, Almaty, Kokshetau, Kostanai, Semei, Taldykorgan, Taraz, Uralsk, Shymkent and chemical and biological schools in Aktau, Almaty, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shymkent, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools in Astana for 2016-2017 academic years.
Admission Committee has obtained 16.052 documents from the applicants for the participation in the competition for awarding the educational grant “Orken”. According to the results of competition hold by the Republican Commission, 6.393 applicants were admitted for “Orken” grants.
According to the results of the first question, 2.170 applicants obtained “Orken” grants for studying in the 7th class of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools from 2016-2017 academic years. The reserve list includes 4.223 applicants, which is valid for the next school year. No vacant places left.
