Volkswagen has unveiled their latest electric vehicle, the Volkswagen last Mile Surfer, which is an electric scooter that can be folded away.

The Last Mile Surfer is powered by an electric motor and comes with a lithium ion battery, according to VW it has a range of 12.4 miles.
The scooter is designed to be folded away and placed in your car boot, Volkswagen sees the scooter being used for the last leg of people’s journey, this is why it has the Last Mile Surfer name, it weighs in at just 11kg.

Martin Winterkon, who is the chairman of Volkswagen in the UK has said that the device will launch in 2016 and will retail for under €1,000, it is expected to cost around £700.
