“shooting stars” that appear in the sky at the request of an observer, may be the next big event for lovers of space and everything connected with it. This phenomenon is planned to be used not only to decorate the holidays, but also for the analysis of the different parameters of the atmosphere. Company of Japan decided to turn the space over our heads in a giant screen.

The company ALE together with a number of Japanese universities is planning to launch a miniature satellite tens centimeter balls at an altitude of about 500 kilometers above sea level. The formula of the material of which will be manufactured sphere is held in the strictest confidence. Passing through the atmosphere at a speed of 7.8 kilometers per second, the balls are lit by friction. By comparison, burning up in the Earth’s atmosphere meteors move at a speed of 80 kilometers per second.
Knowing the exact time and start “shooting star”, observers on Earth will be able to prepare for such an event in advance. Artificial meteors will not pose any danger to Earth, as will be completely burned in the atmosphere, according to the news agency AFP.

from ALE Astronomers say that the satellite company will be able to shoot “falling stars” in any place and at any time. Meteor rain – a rare natural phenomenon. Therefore, it is an artificial copy must amuse wealthy clients willing to pay for the opportunity to observe “shooting star” million yen (more than 8000 dollars).

50-inch satellite, which is still in the design stage, will be moving in orbit around the Earth at an altitude of 400 to 500 kilometers in a north-south direction. His term of service will be limited to a few months. After this period, the satellite is destroyed in the atmosphere.

Japanese scientists believe that the new project provides a rare opportunity to observe the little-known part of the atmosphere, which is located more than 60 kilometers above the Earth.
