According Shamelhanov, used oil is better suited for this technology in its properties, as it has more fat. Raw materials are encouraged to collect in places of public catering. Furthermore, for the production of diesel is possible to use products obtained from cotton - it cheapens the cost of fuel. They add that with this setting already has been produced 20 tons of fuel.
Unlike mineral fuel, ecodiesel has more cetane number, which means it is easier to ignite, which gives it an increased energy efficiency. Furthermore, it does not contain heavy metals and sulfur so harmful combustion emissions such substances are extracted in the minimum amount. Also found that pure diesel does not leave carbon deposits on engine parts. Authors of the project have already received a certificate of quality for its products.
