State registration

Since 1993 National Center for Scientific and technical information carries out state registration and record of newly started R&D and its reports. They are affirmed for financing of scientific and technical programs, defended candidate and doctorate's thesises. Also NC STI forms state funds of information materials on its basis.

 

A unique fulltext fund of R&D reports and dissertations and its electronic versions on all branches of science have been formed at NC STI. At present our database contains more then 16.000 reports about R&D and 18.000 dissertations.

 

Databases on the basis of documentary funds were created and updated. In order to inform  scientific community regarding ongoing researches and its results in the Republic. They are publishing in electronic and printed collection of abstratcts of R&D in 5 series, Bulletin of R&D registration. Also NC STI prepares analitycal reports on the status and trends of development of scientific capacity of the Republic, state and prospects of research evelopment on priority areas of economic development, which are transfered to the bodies of state administration and distributed in the scientific and educationl sphere.

 

The order and assignment forms for state registration are stated in Rules of state registration of the research works, carried out at the expences of budgetary funds, completed themes and programs of fundamental and applied researches, defenced candidate and doctorate's dissertations (available only in Russian). The rules were approved by the order of Ministry Education and Sciense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and included into the Register of the state registration of  standart legal certificates of RK at #4593
